Hi, I'm Annie!
I'm from Hampshire and was born and bred into a farming family, so I have to admit I love nothing more than a good old country wedding!
I went to London for university and spent about 8 years there, working in the wine and spirits industry for a while before doing photography full time. I now live in the seaside in Kent with my boyfriend Ollie and our Sprocker puppy Claude.
I was always told I had an eye for photos, but I really got into photography when I took 18 months out to travel when I was 19. I won a couple of awards with Africa Geographic which gave me the confidence to think of photography as a career.
A couple of years later, an ex-colleague asked me to photograph her wedding, and as terrified as I was, I agreed! It was a success and I used and still use those shots to market myself as a wedding photographer, so I’m forever grateful to her for giving me a chance.
I love weddings for all the different people and places and parties you get to encounter! Everyone is different and I still feel very privileged to be documenting such an important day for people. I’m a pretty down to earth, fun person and I feel that echoes in my approach to wedding photography. No gimmicks and the only cheese should be on the cheeseboard. Just genuine moments and emotions!
