1st in the UK, WPJA 2018 and 2012 Contests. I've been a photojournalist since 1996, working for The Times newspaper in London since 1998, travelling the world covering conflicts, disasters, Royalty and celebrities. For almost twenty years I've been conveying a story in a single image, or telling a more complex story in a photo essay.
I studied physics at Cardiff University whilst working on the award-winning student newspaper, then completed a photojournalism post graduate diploma at Cardiff School of Journalism.
I live in Hertfordshire about 30 miles North of London with my wife Helen and our two beautiful children.
